31st Jan 2009: This is the first fare-paying passenger run (a private charter for the covenantors) of the new A1 class steam locomotive Tornado (which took 18 years to build). Seen here just south or Darlington on the run from York to Newcastle with the "Peppercorn Pioneer" train.
